Daniel Rutledge, Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Daniel Rutledge brings a lifelong belief in active living and a commitment to continued education to his practice at Total Care Chiropractic Regina.
Formerly a competitive swimmer, Dr. Rutledge’s interest in exercise science led him to the Human Kinetics program at the University of British Columbia in his home province. He would later obtain his post-graduate chiropractic training at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto.
Since putting down roots in Regina and establishing his practice in 2007, Dr. Rutledge has worked to increase his knowledge and capability with a wide variety of tools and techniques for both diagnostics and treatment. Dr. Rutledge uses this growing toolkit to determine the root cause of a problem and provide effective and long-lasting relief. His areas of advanced training include:
- Active Release Technique (ART)
- Contemporary Medical Acupuncture
- Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (Graston Technique)
In addition to his duties at the clinic Dr. Rutledge is a Certified Specialist by the Running Clinic and more recently has completed certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He provides regular talks on gait mechanics and injury prevention to runners of all ability levels at the Running Room. He has been the team chiropractor for the Regina Red Sox, and has worked as a chiropractor for several years at the CCA Finals Rodeo at the Western Canadian Agribition. Also, he is currently a swim coach for Regina’s triathlon club, Regina Multisport Club.
Dr. Rutledge is a member of the Chiropractors Association of Saskatchewan, Canadian Chiropractors Association, Sports Medicine and Science Council of Saskatchewan, and the Canadian Contemporary Acupuncture Association. He is also the registrar of the Provincial Medical Acupuncture Association (PMAA).
